Background and Discussion:

Precinct 4 and Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) seek to enter into a cooperative agreement to deliver a six-week Family Engagement Summer Program at Burnett Bayland Community Center. The program focuses on emotional development, health, parenting, and creative expression through arts-based activities for approximately 5-10 families. M-AAA will provide curriculum, staff, materials, and documentation, while the Center will provide space, outreach support, and facility coordination.

Expected Impact:

This partnership will expand access to arts-based family programming that strengthens family relationships and promotes wellbeing for participating Precinct 4 households. The program leverages M-AAA's expertise and resources at no cost to Harris County, allowing the Center to offer enhanced community services. Expected benefits include increased family engagement, improved emotional and creative development, and greater connection to community resources.
