Background and Discussion:

Contract Renewal for Cost Estimating and Value Engineering Services with PMG Project Management Group, LLC. This contract will assist staff with various federal requirements of federally funded projects.

This is on-call Engineering Services to provide independent Construction estimating, cost management, and value engineering at all phases of a project, including design, procurement, and construction. The services will be required for most USACE projects which must comply with federal ICE requirements and provide value engineering every 5 years. High level training for engineering and construction staff could also be included.

Expected Impact:

This contract will aid engineering and construction staff in cost estimating and value engineering for federal projects.

Alternative Options:

Without renewing this contract, the District could risk not fulfilling federal contract requirements, and potentially risk federal funding opportunities.
