Background and Discussion:
On November 10, 2020, Commissioners Court approved an award of a sole source contract for system enhancement and upgrades for the Texas Wide Area Radio Network (TxWARN) Astro P25 System. Approval is requested for a third amendment to extend the contract through August 31, 2026.
Expected Impact:
Extension of this contract will allow Motorola to continue supporting critical systems until a new contract process is completed.
