Background and Discussion:
The credit agreement between the Harris County Flood Control District and JP Morgan Chase Bank in connection with the CP Notes, Series H will expire on December 10, 2024. The County has decided to renew its agreement and the bank agreed to extend the final date of the agreement to December 10, 2027.
The AG’s Office requires that agreement renewal must now go through their office and as such, the District needs to engage a note counsel in connection with the transaction.
