Background and Discussion:

The Texas Association of City and County Health Officials is the premier member organization serving both Texas local public health officials and the departments which they lead in order to enhance local public health practice in Texas with the ultimate goal of improving the health of Texans and the communities in which they live.

 

Expected Impact:

Membership to The Association of City and County Health Officials will allow Harris County Public Health to keep up to date with public health news and developments statewide, share ideas and connect with other health departments in Texas through education, discussions, and networking, and take advantage of other benefits offered to members.
