Background and Discussion:
County and the District have agreed to study and design the Precinct 2 East End Bicycle Connectivity Project in order to build a safe and comfortable bikeway network in the East End District. The Bikeways will be designed to fit the needs of the East End residents and expand access to key community destinations.
Expected Impact:
The eventual construction of a high-comfort bikeway network in East End, providing greater access to key destinations within the East End District.
Alternative Options:
Without a study and design, the bikeway is likely to be constructed in a manner that would not be helpful to the community.
