Background and Discussion:

The request to submit the grant application was approved on July 19, 2024.  This would be the 32nd year receiving the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority grant.

 

Expected Impact:

This grant will provide funding for the Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Unit for the period of September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. 

 

Alternative Options:

Not accepting this award would forfeit the opportunity to receive grant funds for the Auto Theft Unit.
