Background and Discussion: This study involves research and trials of various native grass species to determine if a commercially available mix of grasses can be developed that meets the District’s turf establishment requirements. A native grass option that provides similar benefits to the existing seed plans will give the program more tools to ensure turf establishment continues to be successful.
