Background and Discussion:
Construction of the Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin will help reduce flood damages in and around the Brookglen Subdivision in the vicinity of Willow Springs Creek (Unit B112-00-00) and B112-02-00 confluence. A utility relocation is needed to construct the project. The additional amount in this amendment is for additional labor and materials needed to complete the utility relocation.
Expected Impact:
Upon execution of the utility agreement, the existing facilities currently in conflict will be relocated, allowing for the safe construction of the project.
Alternative Options:
The alternative would be to not take any actions, where the project will not move forward, and flood risks in this area will remain the same.
