Background and Discussion:
Project includes Repairs/Replacement of Concrete Pavement, Curbs, Driveways, Sidewalks and Related Items in Harris County Precinct 2. The Precinct has requested for the new bid items to be added for road safety with the installation of speed hump.
Change includes adding bid Item #68 and 69 for speed humps installation within Precinct 2.
1- Item 68 - Asphalt Speed hump on a 12-foot lane or less concrete or asphalt road - $4,940.67
2- Item 69 - Concrete Speed hump on a 12-foot lane or less on a concrete or asphalt road - $9,208.94
All missing in the current bid.
The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.

Change allows the contractor to install speed humps within the Precinct 2 limit.
