Background and Discussion:
The County entered into an agreement with Civitas Engineering Group, Inc. on March 27, 2025, to provide professional services for the Intersection Improvements - Beckendorff and Stockdick Package - 2023. Approval of the study report will conclude the Study Phase and initiate the Design Phase.
Expected Impact:
The study is anticipated to support intersection improvements within Precinct 4. The project will enhance safety, mobility, and capacity at each location, improving traffic flow and providing safer, more efficient travel for motorists.
Alternative Options:
If the County could not elect to approve this request, the consultant will be unable to complete the scope of work or proceed with the design phase. As a result, the safety and mobility benefits associated with the proposed improvements would not be achieved, thereby depriving residents and motorists of these enhancements.
