Background and Discussion:

John Ralston Road is a major thoroughfare that is in poor condition and has been identified for much needed rehabilitation in the form of reconstruction and base repair, mill & overlay.  The work changes are to install the following:

•                     Cement Slurry, 120 Tons at $385/Ton=$46,200.00 and Stabilized Cement Subgrade, 9,600 SY at $7.50/SY=$72,450.00, Total Amount=$118,650.00

•                     18” RCP-Reinforced Concrete Pipe, C76, Class IV, Rubber Gasket (18”), 24 LFT at $135/FT= $3,240.00

•                     Over-All Total Amount=$140,290.00

Expected Impact:

Roadway reconstruction will provide a new road section designed for major thoroughfare traffic and include intersection improvement to accommodate the heavy truck traffic.  Work will also include limited storm sewer,

signing & striping, and site restoration.
