Background and Discussion:

The scope of the project is to buy property and build a 50,000 square-foot, purpose-built facility on a five-acre campus near Hollister and Hammerly in Spring Branch. ARPA funds will support gap funding for construction of this facility that will more than quadruple the number of children fed and reach their goal to serve at least 26,000 children daily by 2031.

 

Expected Impact:

No fiscal impact to this request. This project seeks to help residents of low- to moderate-income in Precincts 2 and 3 by completing the construction of the purpose-built facility.
