Background and Discussion:
Project includes concrete repairs, replacement, and related items at various locations in the Hockley & Katy Zone for Precinct 4. The Precinct has requested for the new bid items be added to current bid items.
Change includes adding bid Item #61, item #62, item #63, item #64, item #65, missing in original bid items.
1- Item 61_ Concrete Curb (8" -20" Height) - $20/LF
2- Item 62_ Removing, relocating, or disposing of small trees - $1000/EA.
3- Item 63 _ Saw Cut for New Concrete Pavement including removal and disposal - $12/LF
4- Item 64 - Saw cut concrete pavement, install loop detectors - $29.50/LF
5- Item 65 - Furnish and install 1” diameter rigid galvanized steel conduit - $44.84/LF
The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.
Expected Impact:
Change allows the contractor to complete concrete paving and repairs within the Precinct 4 Road & Bridge limit.
