Background and Discussion:
On June 27, 2017 Commissioners Court approved an Agreement with Geotest Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $8,390,000.00 for engineering services to support the Program Management Consultant (PMC) for the construction of the East Sam Houston Tollway from Interstate 10 (East) to SH 225, the Ship Channel Bridge Program, including the construction of twin bridges over the Houston Ship Channel.
The First Amendment will increase payment from $8,390,000.00 to $14,040,000.00 and update terms and conditions. Amendment also includes an MWDBE goal for the amended value and scope.
This agreement will allow additional services to move forward with the construction of the Ship Channel Bridge Program.
Expected Impact:
Funding for this request will come from the Toll Road Authority.
