Background and Discussion:

The Aldine Village and Oak Glen Place West Subdivisions Drainage Improvements - 2018 project is located in Harris County, in Aldine near Halls Bayou. The scope of this project is to included storm sewer system upgrades, installation of storm sewer outfalls and detention basins with pump stations into Halls Bayou Channels P118-25 and P-118-26, driveway replacements, and related pavement work. This Utility Adjustment Agreement allows the project to move forward with the improvements as intended.

Expected Impact:

This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Aldine Village and Oak Glen Place West subdivisions. This agreement allows for the proposed pump station to be serviced by CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC to be able to function properly.

Alternative Options:

In order to complete the project as designed the Utility Agreement must be executed to have electricity serviced to the proposed pump station. The only option is to have both parties execute this Utility Agreement.
