Background and Discussion:
This is a request to approve right-of-way acquisition for the Hurricane Harvey HMGP DR-4332-004 Buyout in The Cypress Creek Watershed (Tract K100-00-00-29-803.0). This was previously approved in 2018, but the owner opted out of the program before purchase. Recently, the owner opted back in and has added a second adjacent tract to the acquisition altering the legal description of the previous approval.
Expected Impact:
Removal of people and property deep in the floodplain.
