Background and Discussion:
The City of Galena Park is committed to enhancing the safety and accessibility of its sidewalks and ramps in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This initiative involves systematically constructing, removing, and replacing sidewalks and ramps in designated areas throughout the city.
Expected Impact:
This project will reduce exposure to potentially deadly accidents and hazards. This project will benefit approximately 3,000 individuals, representing over one-fourth of the city’s population.
