Background and Discussion:
The Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity (DEEO) Worker and Community Protection group provides wage rate compliance services for HCTRA projects in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2258. The parties agree to a formal ILA for payment of services starting on October 1, 2024, for FY2025.
This ILA is for FY2025; the period of performance is from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. The amount and terms have been mutually agreed upon and reflect labor costs for one (1) PCN and project costs (portion of compliance software, supplies, etc.). The amount will be reviewed annually for consideration of additional projects and updated accordingly.
Expected Impact:
The DEEO will use the revenue collected from this agreement to secure the resources required for construction contract compliance and worker protection on HCTRA projects in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2258.
