Background and Discussion:

Extension of Cutten Road from Magnolia Ridge Drive to Cossey Road, standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard in 100-ft right of way with 32-ft raised medians including 5-ft sidewalks to both sides of the extension of Cutten Rd up to Spring Cypress Road, the tie-in of existing sidewalks south of Bavaria Dr., and a proposed detention pond southeast of the Cutten/Cossey intersection. This amendment will separate the south basin design and bid phase to expedite the construction schedule to meet terms of an interlocal agreement.

Expected Impact:

The project is expected to significantly enhance traffic flow, safety, and infrastructure resilience by providing a modern, well-planned boulevard with improved drainage and pedestrian facilities. It will reduce congestion, accommodate future growth, and integrate seamlessly with surrounding projects, contributing to the overall development and sustainability of the area.

Alternative Options:

If no action is taken, the project may experience delays in improving mobility in the area.
