Request Summary (Agenda Caption):
title
Request for approval of a renewal option with Dominion Construction & Supply LLC for corrugated metal pipe and related items for the Flood Control District for the period of August 7, 2026 - August 6, 2027, at a cost of $215,886 (250119), Justification for 0% MWBE Participation Goal: 0% - Minimal MWDBE Availability.

Background and Discussion:
The District has been using this supplier of corrugated metal pipe to facilitate in-house repair projects by the Fast Action Service Team (FAST). The renewal of this term contract will allow for bulk purchases of corrugated metal pipe and related items. This will allow multiple FAST crews to work on multiple projects at the same time. The recommendation is to renew under the contract to continue supplying corrugated metal pipe and related items to Dominion Construction & Supply.
Expected Impact:
FAST performs the repairs for small projects received from the public. The bulk purchase of pipe will expedite work on multiple projects instead of individual purchases for each project. Maintenance Matters Prop “A” funds the labor and materials to expedite these small repairs by FAST to address public concerns.
Alternative Options:
The alternative is to “do nothing” and process the required material to complete each small repair project individually and slow down response time.
