Background and Discussion:

Channel and basin berms are intended for maintenance access but oftentimes ruts in the berm make access difficult or impossible with the potential of getting county vehicles stuck.

Expected Impact:

The contract will allow the restoration of access for maintenance and inspection of District facilities.

Alternative Options:

An alternative option would be to eliminate the contract and have the repair of maintenance access be handled by the District’s Maintenance Construction Group.
