Background and Discussion:
The third Annual of its kind, this year’s Maternal and Child Health Conference will build on the momentum from the previous years by supporting the foundation for greater partnerships with community-based organizations and residents within Harris County. Our department’s goal in hosting this annual convening is to educate and empower our attendees while bringing awareness to the data and disparities of maternal and child health care.
Expected Impact:
The Maternal and Child Health Conference 2025 will have a significant impact by bringing together key stakeholders to explore innovative strategies and solutions aimed at improving maternal and child health outcomes. Through a series of expert-led sessions and collaborative discussions, the conference will foster community partnerships, advocate for policy change, and provide actionable resources that empower both professionals and community members. By addressing health disparities and promoting equitable care, this conference will contribute to building healthier families and stronger, more resilient communities across our region.
