Background and Discussion:

North Main Street Improvements include a reconstruction of the existing 2-lane asphalt roadway to a 4-lane concrete boulevard with underground storm sewer.

 

Expected Impact:

The construction of this project the expected impacts will allow for a better flow of traffic with the expansion from a 2-lane road to a 4-lane boulevard.

 

Alternative Options:

If not approved by Commissioner's Court, the Improvements of North Main Street would consist of designing a non-standard boulevard where ROW is not acquired.
