Background and Discussion:

Nearly five years ago, we invested in the Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) platform to modernize and consolidate our production server environment. Since then, the flexibility, scalability, and intelligent performance management inherent to HCI architecture have enabled the District Clerk’s Office (DCO) to proactively prevent system bottlenecks and maintain high service availability.

Nutanix remains a recognized leader in this technology space, offering continuous innovation, robust software optimization, and world-class customer support. Renewing our hardware service and software support contracts is essential to preserving the operational integrity of our production systems. These systems are the backbone of the DCO’s digital services-including case management, public access, e-filing, and records retrieval-which are accessed daily by citizens, legal professionals, and justice system partners.

Any disruption to this environment risks impairing services that are critical to public trust and judicial continuity. Continued support ensures rapid response to hardware issues, access to security and feature updates, firmware lifecycle management, and expert-level guidance from the vendor. In a high-availability environment like ours, where downtime is unacceptable and demand is constant, these services are not optional-they are strategic safeguards. As a government entity entrusted with public data and legal records, maintaining a fully supported infrastructure is not just a best practice-it’s a foundational requirement for resilience, accountability, and operational excellence.

Expected Impact:

Continue foundational requirement for resilience, accountability, and operational excellence.
