Background and Discussion:

Precinct 4 is partnering with The Sanders Hand to provide the Young Billionaires Club (YBC) entrepreneurship program to Harris County youth. Through this collaboration, The Sanders Hand will deliver in-person and virtual entrepreneurship education, provide access to the YBC Online Campus, and host YBC Vendor Market events that allow youth participants to showcase their businesses and develop practical entrepreneurial skills. The agreement term is twelve (12) months with two (2) one-year renewal options.

The collaboration is designed to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence, and real-world experience needed to become future business leaders. Through hands-on learning opportunities, participants will develop business planning, marketing, sales, communication, and financial literacy skills while fostering creativity, innovation, and self-sufficiency. All services provided under this agreement will be offered at no cost to participants of Harris County.

Expected Impact:

The Young Billionaires Club collaboration is expected to increase access to entrepreneurship education and workforce readiness opportunities for Harris County youth. Participants will gain practical experience in developing business concepts, building customer relationships, marketing products and services, and presenting their ideas in professional settings.

The program will also strengthen youth leadership, confidence, financial literacy, and critical thinking skills while providing opportunities for community engagement through vendor markets and public presentations. By exposing participants to entrepreneurship at an early age, the initiative aims to foster economic mobility and inspire future business ownership within Precinct 4 communities.
