Background and Discussion:

The 408 Permit is a requirement by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for all construction work over a navigable waterway. With the addition of the Shared Use Path, HCTRA is required to update the 408 permit. This agreement will allow the Program Management Consultant to pay the required funds to USACE for the processing of the 408 permit.

Expected Impact:

Updates to existing environmental permits on the ship channel bridge

Alternative Options:

No other recommended option for this identified need.
