Background and Discussion:
During the period before Notice to Proceed, steel prices and other construction costs were adversely impacted by significant market fluctuations. The best solution for the county is to rescind the award, and re-advertise the project.
Expected Impact:
Contractors will be compensated for the scope of work at current rates. Request to re-advertise to be submitted separately.
