Background and Discussion:
This is a request to approve right-of-way acquisition for floodplain preservation and to prevent future development of land that is prone to flooding.
Expected Impact:
Acquisition of this tract will provide floodplain preservation in the area next to the W130-00-00 channel.
Alternative Options:
If Flood Control does not acquire the property, it will continue to flood in private ownership 75% in the floodplain.
