Background and Discussion:

On June 30, 2020, Commissioners Court approved an Agreement between Harris County and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc. for Northwood Apartments Project. On November 10, 2020, August 10, 2021, and January 4, 2022, Commissioners Court approved the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Amendments that amended the Agreements. Attached for Commissioners Court review and approval is the Sixth Amendment to the Agreement between Harris County, and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc., for the above-described project to extend the construction contract to December 31, 2023.

 

Expected Impact:

No change in fiscal impact. The expected impact is to extend the construction contract to allow the project’s timely completion.
