Background and Discussion:

Precinct 3 is requesting the Office of the County Engineer to enter into an agreement for professional engineering services to provide design of maintenance repair options to Spring Cypress Road and Louetta Road within Precinct 3.  The total length of the project is 2.7 miles of roadway, covering the subject roads. Spring Cypress Road is a 4-lane (with cont. turn lane) asphalt major thoroughfare within 120-ft of ROW with 11-ft lanes, 1 concrete channel crossing over Spring Gully (VH-SPC16006) and open ditches. The corridor is on the HC road log. Louetta Road is a 4-lane (with cont. turn lane) asphalt major thoroughfare within 100-ft of ROW, with 11-ft lanes, 1 concrete channel crossing over Dry Gully (VH-LOU11005) and open ditches.

Expected Impact:

The maintenance project will improve the road quality for the community in the specified area.
