Request Summary (Agenda Caption):

title

Transmittal by the District Attorney of an amended timesheet attestations per the Office of the Governor audit request for the FY25 Victim Assistance Project Grant Program.

end

Background and Discussion:

The previously certified attestation was revised to reflect the language of pay day instead of pay period per the Office of the Governor for pay date of 12/06/2024, 10/11/2024 and 2/14/2025. The Victim Assistance grant program provides critical emotional support services, criminal justice information, and protective order assistance to crime victims.

The audit was received on 11/4/25 and is requesting additional time sheet attestations to ensure both exempt and non-exempt employees who work 100% on grant activities periodically (at least semi-annually) certify that they worked solely on the grant.

Expected Impact:

The District Attorney’s Office must provide attestations, signed by the authorized official, for each sampled employee certifying the number of hours the employee worked, and the percentage of time worked on the grant-related activities

Alternative Options:

There are no alternative options. The Office of the Governor requires these timesheet attestations.
