Background and Discussion:

Shadowlake Subdivision consists of multiple existing two-lane roads approx. 20ft wide asphalt residential roadway with failing surfaces, subgrade, and ponding roadside ditches. This project will reconstruct the roadways to existing 20ft wide standard Residential Asphalt Roadways and regrade roadside ditches to prevent ponding.

Expected Impact:

Reconstructing roadway will ensure reliable and safe route of transportation to residents of the Harris County.

Alternative Options:

The project currently exceeds the capabilities of maintenance contracts and in-house resources to perform in whole. Maintenance staff could continue very time intensive spot maintenance until the contract is awarded.

Alignment with Goal(s):

_ Justice and Safety

_ Economic Opportunity

_ Housing

_ Public Health
