Background and Discussion:
Project includes the construction of 4-Lane Concrete Boulevard and a new bridge at Greens Bayou. The roadway pavement had been constructed and used long before the new bridge completion. The work changes are the following:
• Relocation of Inlet at Station 12+25 LT in the additional amount of $3,500.00 and an additional 10 days.
• Construction to re-stripe the existing asphalt from the transition on the west of the project towards the west with $0.00 and additional 1 day.
• To refresh striping and buttons between John Ralston and CE King that was previously placed when traffic was opened to 4 lanes with $0.00 and additional 1 day.
• Requesting additional days due to the following: Tropical Storm Beta, RFI#018, RFI#009, RFI#003 and delay due to material and trucking shortage during bridge construction. with $0.00 and additional 198 days.
• Final Adjustments in the amount (deduction) of -$141,604.45 with zero days.
• Contractor (Allgood) is requesting additional days due to Voiding CO 02, 03, and CO 06 - with $0.00 and additional 305 days.
• Total Amount Change (deduction) is -$138,104.45 and a total of 515 days.
Expected Impact:
The new pavement marking will better serve the public traffic. The inlet relocation will improve the local drainage and provide the safer condition to the nearby sidewalk and bus station.
