Background and Discussion:

The County advertised Parkway (Mobile Homes) Subdivision Drainage Improvements project for bid and now seeks to award the construction contract based on the lowest and responsive bidder. The Parkway (Mobile Homes) Subdivision Drainage Improvements project site consists of subdivision drainage improvements and stormwater detention basin located south of the intersection of Park Trail Drive and Tidwell Road, discharging into Harris County Flood Control District Channel Unit No. P122-00-00. Major work activities include off-site disposal of about 138,000 cubic yards of excavation and a wet bottom stormwater detention basin. The construction of the stormwater detention basin will consist of clearing and grubbing of piezometers, site grading, and maintenance access paths according to Plans.

 

Expected Impact:

This action will allow iCON GC, LLC to proceed with the construction of the project.
