Background and Discussion:
The traffic impact analysis for the M&M Gosling Express Inc. development at 17008 Telge Road requires a southbound left turn lane. The interlocal agreement will allow the developer to defer the required construction of the left turn lane which will be constructed by Harris County under the Telge Road expansion project.
Expected Impact:
The interlocal agreement will result in a cooperative arrangement between Harris County and M&M Gosling Express Inc.
Alternative Options:
An alternative would be to not enter into a cooperative agreement which will result in less than an optimal situation as the M&M Gosling Express Inc. would construct the left turn lane at considerable expense, only for it to be removed by the Harris County road expansion project at additional unnecessary cost.
