Background and Discussion:

Precinct 3 is requesting the Office of the County Engineer to approve an agreement to provide professional engineering services for the traffic signal and intersection improvements includes new northbound and southbound turn lanes, pedestrian crossing and Pavements markings. 

Expected Impact:

The intersection improvements will improve the road quality and connectivity for the community in the specified area.

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative is for the intersection to remain an all-way stop with no dedicated turn lanes which will continue to cause traffic issues for the surrounding community.
