Background and Discussion: 
The sidewalk will provide mobility, increase pedestrian safety and better access to two (2) schools that are on Woodforest Boulevard and connect with other recent sidewalk initiatives.
 
Expected Impact: 
The sidewalk will provide a continuation of previous phases of sidewalk projects that will provide overall pedestrian mobility and safety for the overall area.
 
Alternative Options: 
To design the project using in-house resources which are limited.  Using specialized professional services and staff will also for provide for a more expedient project completion.
