Background and Discussion:
The County advertised Intersection Improvement - Fry Rd at Mound Rd and Cypress N. Houston Rd at Barker Cypress Rd - 2023 project for bid and now seeks to award the construction contract based on the lowest and responsive bidder. The goal of constructing the subject project of intersection improvements of dual left turn lanes at both intersections, Fry Rd at Mound Rd and Cypress North Houston Rd at Barker Rd. Upgrades to the traffic signals to improve operating conditions. DVL Enterprises, LLC is qualified to perform these construction services.
Expected Impact:
This action will allow DVL Enterprises, LLC to proceed with the construction of the project, therefore, both intersections will be improved for drivers and will operate under better conditions.
