Background and Discussion:
During the Texas 89th Legislative Session, the State of Texas raised the monetary threshold for informal procurements effective September 1, 2025. Beginning Friday, October 31, 2025, Harris County will expand its informal procurement threshold to $100,000. Please review the new quote requirements for purchases below this threshold:
