Background and Discussion:
This grant would enable the Sheriff’s Office to hire three grant funded positions and support all aspects of the TAG Center operation from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. This grant has no statutory cash match requirements and will require no local discretionary funding.
Expected Impact:
This grant is used to fund TAG Center operations along with supplies, personnel, equipment and software expenses to be utilized by HCSO and partnering agencies for the purpose of investigating gang related crimes in this region.
