Background and Discussion:
This project is located in northeast Harris County in the Greens Bayou (P100-00-00) watershed, between Red Bird Lane and C.E King Parkway. The project includes roadside ditch improvements along Unison Road and Ticonderoga Road and channel improvements on P117-00-00. The work activities include roadside ditch improvements and filling roadside ditches where ditches are greater than 4-foot in depth and replacing them with underground storm sewer system.
This agreement will provide Professional Services from the Engineer of Record during construction phase.
Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Houmont Park Subdivision community. No impact on project schedule or cost anticipated.
Alternative Options:
If no action is taken, the engineer of record will not be accessible for support through the construction of the project.
