Background and Discussion:
In response to the destruction brought on by Hurricane Harvey that underscored critical shortages in Harris County’s inventory of affordable homes, Harris County’s Single Family New Construction Program (SFNC) matches individuals and families with opportunities to purchase new affordable homes in growing development throughout the County.
During the project execution, it was discovered that additional trees not shown on the original topographic survey are present within the project limits. As a result, the area for clearing and grubbing will need to be increased by 0.7 acres. This change will add an additional amount of $10,920.00, and no additional days.
Expected Impact:
Increase the total cost for the contract.

No action will result in substandard construction.
