Background and Discussion:

At the April 23rd Commissioners Court meeting, the Court voted unanimously in favor of directing the Office of Management and Budget and Harris County Flood Control to develop a strategy to tackle deferred maintenance on Flood Control property and then return to present said strategy and timeline at Commissioners Court on Tuesday, May 7th, and in the June Commissioners Court. In addition to this strategy, Commissioner Garcia explicitly requested the executive director to add in homelessness encampments as part of this overarching strategy.
