Background and Discussion:
Since 2021, Harris County Public Health has been a recipient of the CDC Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant subaward grant from the Texas Department of State Health Services. These funds are provided to local public health agencies to address key workforce and infrastructure needs to improve the delivery of essential public health services. HCPH is requesting approval of an amendment to the grant, which will continue the award and will provide a total of $378,438 for FY2025.
