Background and Discussion:

These properties are located within the proposed project limits for the Clear Creek Federal Flood Risk Management Project, which is a partnership project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  These properties were originally identified for use under the 2012 General Reevaluation Report (GRR) plan approved by the USACE, and the revised Preliminary Engineering and Design (PED) plan that is currently undergoing Post Authorization Change Report (PACR) process for approval of project description change.  Design adjustments to preliminary concepts from the GRR are based on newer field conditions and fall within the approval limits provided by the approved EIS that was published with the 2012 GRR.

Expected Impact:

Flood Risk Reduction for Clear Creek watershed.

Alternative Options:

No alternative is viable without losing progress with the PACR, which has taken 3 years to obtain a conditional approval.
