Background and Discussion:
This contract with First Class Units, Inc. for construction services for the Sheldon Health Hub that consists of the renovation of the existing ROTC building on the campus of C.E. King MS at 8530 C. E. King Pkwy., Houston, TX 77044. This particular project HCPH will be leasing the existing ROTC building from Sheldon Independent School District on a long term basis.
The scope of work will include interior renovations of the existing facility with exterior improvements to fit the programmatic goals and functional needs of the facility.
Completion Date for this project is established to be September 16th, 2024.
Expected Impact:
This action establishes the date on which a capital improvement enters service as a Harris County asset.
