Background and Discussion:
This project includes various bridge repairs at six locations withing Harris County Precinct 3 (Jones Road at Cypress Creek, Louetta Road at Theiss Gully, Oak Lane at G103-01-00, Hardy Road South Bound at Cypress Creek Relief, Cypresswood Drive at Cypress Creek, and Tuckerton Road West Bound at Towne Lake Detention).
The change in contract includes the following:
• Addition of 91 days for extra bridge added to the project based on Precinct 3.
• Extra cost for installation of retention blanket in Louetta at Little Cypress Creek. ($2,178.00).
• The final adjustment (reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction against the bid quantities). ($18,832.36).
Expected Impact:
Change allows unused funds to be returned to Harris County and allows the Contractor to be compensated.
