Request for approval of the third amendment to the agreement with Harris County Precinct 2 in the additional amount of $292,624.89 in CDBG-DR funds to adequately cover the cost of construction for the Beaumont Place Drainage Improvements project.

Background and Discussion:
To improve existing drainage system inadequacies by increasing storm water capacity, improving conveyance of storm water out of the subdivision, and providing additional storage for mitigation. The project will decrease the ponded water surface elevations across the subdivision to reduce the future risk of street and structural flooding. The funding is coming from the High Meadows Drainage Improvement project.
Expected Impact:
To provide drainage improvements to the Beaumont Place area that benefits 2,750 people of which 62.06% are low to moderate income. Shifting $292,624.89 from another project - no new fiscal impact.
