Background and Discussion:

Precinct 5 deputies are assigned to the task force, which is comprised of federal and local law enforcement officers working cooperatively to reduce the trafficking of narcotics and dangerous drugs. The HSTF program reimburses participating agencies for monthly vehicle expenses incurred by law enforcement officers while assisting in investigations.

 

Expected Impact:

The goal of participating in the task force is to increase the health and general welfare of the people of

Harris County by reducing illegal activity in the trafficking of narcotics and dangerous drugs.
